Turbidity Meter LT-TM101 works by placing the microbial suspension in a compatible test tube and measuring its optical response using an LED light source at 565 ±15 nm. The instrument detects the turbidity of the suspension and converts the measured optical signal into a McFarland value ranging from 0.00 to 15.00 McF. The result is generated within 1 second and displayed on the LCD with 0.01 McF resolution, allowing quick interpretation of sample concentration. It supports 18 mm, 16 mm, and 12 mm test tubes with suitable adapters and requires a minimum sample volume of 2 mL. The rapid measurement process helps users compare microbial suspensions against standardized turbidity levels with minimal handling time.
